Hillah, Iraq.

Short entry today, but with lots of eye candy. We went to the shooting range.’Shooting range’ is a big misleading, as it is just a patch of desert that we have opted to claim for expending ordinance and ammunition. The pictures looked washed out because we were having another sandstorm.

*Sorry for the orientation on this video*

After the weapons exercise, we returned to Camp Charlie. We needed to convoy up to Baghdad to deliver some admin paperwork. I opted not to go as I have to work on my Bombing Derby plan. The Staff Sergeant managed to weasel out of paperwork he needs to do, but we were fine with it as he hadn’t been to Baghdad. I gave one of the Marines money to buy my patches, though. I spent the afternoon working on the CAS training presentation. And I might have played some X Box. You know, for a break. OK, I worked on my presentation as a break from X Box, if you must know.

Turkey pot pie made a regrettable and hopefully short lived debut on the chowhall. ‘Turkey’ is probably not quite as accurate as the FDA might like.
