Hillah, Iraq.

I had the duty today. Which means that I didn’t do much but answer the phone, and watch movies. Nice to have a slow day.

The corpsmen in WPB messed up the treatment instructions for our smallpox. I just learned that I am not supposed to have this huge suppurating pustule on my shoulder.

I submitted the air support request, which normally is not a big deal. However, the previous detachment didn’t leave us the password for the computer that we do this with, and the place where we connect the computer is way on the other side of the camp. When we finally got there, their network was down. I finally just called the controlling agency on the radio, and got a phone number. The best solution I could come up with is reading the sergeant the request, much like filing a flight plan over the phone. I really, really hope that works.
